gallery: opening night of Waterparks’ “Sneaking Out Of Heaven Tour”

Awsten Knight of Waterparks.

To be completely transparent, I’m having difficulty finding the words to write this while staying true to the tone of Waterparks, but here’s the gist of things: Waterparks opened their “Sneaking Out Of Heaven” tour in Seattle last week, and it was fucking incredible. The second tour since the release of their fifth studio album, Intellectual Property, Waterparks really outdid themselves. Insane production complete with a set change halfway through the show, a b-stage dedicated solely to a gorgeous three song piano segment, and an incredible setlist consisting of a Liz Phair cover and the live debut of a yet to be released song (SOULSUCKER). It was amazing to see them headline the very same venue I saw them open five years ago, and this may be their biggest and best tour yet. Go see them live. Please. I’m begging you.
